Pursuing an undriven life

One of America's supreme alpinists , Conrad Anker recently gave this soliloquy when challenged about making climbing his life:

"Do we improve the lot of the world?

"No. Climbings recreation and recreation is vital to human beings.
What we do as certified risk takers..."

"Kids need to know there are still some bad asses out there, doing incredibly demanding things to their bodies. Most people are so risk adverse."

Don't know if you read your own blog anymore, but it was good seeing you over the weekend.

Peace,
